Since Children Did NOT go to School, Then what Did They Learn?

        Boys and girls learned a lot of things from their parents so they could go into their adult life too. The girls were always with their mothers to learn to take care of a family when they are women in adulthood and they are also taught household work. The girls use these skills to stay at home while the men are working. Wow, I didn't know the girls had to learn so much just to get through adulthood! The mother takes care of the children, makes dinner, does luandry, etc. The mother dosen't do all of these things because of coarse the children need to learn how to do these things too.

        Boys were taught how to work all the time by their father. I can't believe they had to work so hard but they had to or else the family would become poor and the mother wouldn't be able to get a job to take care of there family. Boys learned their fathers trades' so they could take care of the family business. Most men were traders, and soldiers.
